Rethinking the news: On the theory and practice of constructive journalism
Journalism is under pressure in many ways. Non-journalistic sources of information are gaining popularity, social trust in journalistic media is declining, and many people consciously refuse to consume news (keyword: news avoidance). Constructive journalism is a way of reporting that aims to counteract these crises. In the course, we want to approach constructive journalism from both a theoretical and practical perspective and create our own constructive-journalistic offerings.
