The Elective »Dream Light Space«is a collaborative course with the goal to explore the fusion of artificial intelligence and the world of light installations and projections. This innovative course equips students with the knowledge and skills to design and craft captivating light installations using state-of-the-art AI image generators and creative AI tools.
The primary objective of »Dream Light Space« is to explore the convergence of artificial intelligence and light installations. This elective course aims to provide students with a profound understanding of light principles, while also facilitating creative exploration through AI image generators and tools. Students will develop conceptualisation and design skills for crafting unique light installations and gain practical experience in their realisation. Ethical considerations related to AI in art will also be explored, fostering a holistic perspective on the subject.
Throughout »Dream Light Space« students will engage in hands-on experimentation with AI algorithms to create visual effects for their installations. Collaboration with peers from diverse backgrounds will nurture a multidisciplinary approach to projects, and opportunities to exhibit final installations in the Schauraum of the h_da will provide a platform for sharing the work with a wider audience.
