Offer a room- make a difference!

The demand for student housing in Darmstadt continues to grow – and existing accommodation provided by Studierendenwerk Darmstadt and other providers is simply not enough to meet it.

That’s why the Housing and Accommodation Support Office of the International Office is reaching out to all students, professors, and administrative staff at Hochschule Darmstadt: If you have a spare room – no matter how big or where it is – consider opening your door to an international student.

You don’t need to have a perfect space. Just a place.

Even a room for a few weeks or months can make a life-changing difference for someone arriving in a new country and beginning an exciting new chapter in his/her life. By offering accommodation, you’re not just providing a roof – you’re creating a bridge into our community and strengthening what makes h_da so special: Practice-based, forward-thinking, culturally rich and inclusive community

All offers are welcome!

The process is simple. If you are a student, professor, or staff member of h_da and have a room or apartment available, you can upload your offer directly on the Moodle course H_da Internal Housing and Accommodation Market. Only those with an h_da email address can access this platform and view offers.
Our office will verify all listings to ensure their accuracy before making them visible.

Please note: This initiative is exclusively for private offers by members of the h_da community.

Unfortunately, we cannot publish requests from individuals seeking housing themselves.
