Dear Class Participants,

 

This class offers a virtual exchange (VE) with University of Florida, Gainesville for the first time this term. Language spoken/taught in class is English.

 

The class will emphasize data analyses and involve the following:

 

Activities for Students:

Students-to-Students Dialogue
Students-to-Students Projects

Participate in tasks/activities set up by instructors

Presentation of results of group case studies

Use of Technology:

Zoom, Google Slides, R & R Studio, Data Visualization programs, Refinitiv

Tasks:

International Groups will work on analyzing data to answer questions about varying aspects of "Financial Performance of ESG-Strategies" and related data sets (Case Studies), and/or emphasize data collection from Refinitiv or work on analyzing different data sets

Learning Outcomes:

Objective: Promote intercultural exchange.

Develop familiarity with analyzing financial data with reference to ESG in an international context

Develop familiarity with visualization of data

 

Assignments to achieve Credit Points:

 

Participate in tasks set up by the class instructors and presentation of results of case studies.

 

We will meet on Saturday 21st in Darmstadt starting 9am in room D21/00.13 in person. From thereon onwards the class will be online.
